A campaign is one automation bound to one connected page, built as a graph of nodes on the canvas. A node is one element of that graph. An execution is one pass through that graph for one person, recorded node by node. A contact is someone who interacted with your page. Every other term this site uses is defined below, alphabetically, with the page that covers it in full.

AFP Monster, afp.monsterAFP (afp.monster is the domain)
  • A campaign is what you build; an execution is what happens. Editing a campaign changes later executions, never the executions already under way — see Execution states.
  • Saving is not activating. Saving writes a new graph version; the Active toggle decides whether that version’s trigger starts executions.
  • An account is a login; a profile is a Facebook or Instagram identity inside it. Each profile brings the pages it administers.
  • Subscription means the plan you pay for. A page also has to be subscribed to events before any arrive, which AFP does when you create the first campaign on it.
  • A keyword list decides who gets a reply; a tag records something about the person who got one.
  • A contact is a person; a conversation is a thread. Contacts are stored by AFP and carry tags; conversations are read from Facebook or Instagram as you open them.
  • The cleaner works on comments that already exist, while hide_comment and delete_comment nodes act on the comment that triggered an execution.
