Each allowance is checked at the moment you try to add something, against the plan your active subscription sits on. Reaching a limit refuses that one action and changes nothing else. Nothing you already created is removed. The numbers are not repeated here. An account with no active subscription, or one whose days have run out, is refused before any count is looked at. ## Campaign allowance - **Counted:** campaigns on the account - **Checked:** when you create a campaign - **At the limit:** creation is refused, and no campaign, graph, or version is written The count is of campaigns that exist at the moment of the check, so deleting one frees room for another. Saving changes to an existing campaign re-checks that the subscription is active but does not re-check the count, so an account over its allowance can still edit and deactivate what it has. A refusal names the plan rather than the canvas: the message says the number of campaigns in your plan has been exceeded. [Build a campaign on the canvas](/guides/build-a-campaign) covers the other reasons a save is rejected. ## Page allowance - **Counted:** every page on the account, across every attached profile - **Checked:** when you link a profile's pages, relink a page you disconnected, or connect an Instagram business account - **At the limit:** the request is refused as a plan problem, not a page problem Pages are counted as though the whole selection were already linked, so linking four pages at once can fail where linking one succeeds. Selecting fewer pages separates a plan limit from a permission problem on a single page. Connecting an Instagram business account returns you to **Accounts** with a plan-limit error when the count would be exceeded. Relinking a page you had disconnected runs the check again as well — a disconnected page gets no free pass back in. ## Profile allowance - **Counted:** Facebook profiles attached to the account - **Checked:** when you link pages belonging to a profile - **At the limit:** the link is refused with a profile restriction Below **Team Scale**, active Facebook pages come from one profile at a time. You can attach as many profiles as you like, but linking a second profile's pages while another profile still has active pages is refused. Connecting a standalone Instagram business account, and reconnecting one, also require **Team Scale**. [Connect a page](/start/connect-a-page) walks through attaching a profile and choosing which pages go active. ## Cleaner access - **Counted:** nothing — this is a plan check, not a count - **Checked:** when you start a cleaner job - **At the limit:** the job is refused and no cleaner record is created The cleaner needs an active paid subscription. A subscription on the trial plan is refused, and so is a paid subscription whose days have run out. Both refusals land before the job starts, so nothing partial is left behind. [Bulk-remove comments with the cleaner](/guides/cleaner) covers what a job does once it is allowed to start. ## Subscription duration - **Counted:** days, held on the subscription itself - **Checked:** at purchase, and on every later access check - **At the limit:** the subscription is marked expired the next time something needs it Each plan carries a duration in days, and a purchase grants that duration multiplied by the number of months in the term you chose. The days live on the subscription rather than on the plan, so a subscription keeps the length it was bought with. [Subscription lifecycle](/reference/subscription-lifecycle) has the arithmetic for extending and switching. ## The trial plan - **Visible in the catalogue:** no - **Granted:** automatically, as the first subscription on a new account - **Restrictions:** cleaner jobs are refused, and its remaining days do not carry over A new account starts with a trial subscription on the default plan. That plan is hidden from the catalogue, so you cannot buy it and it does not appear among the plans to compare. Switching from it to a paid plan gives you the days you bought and nothing more. ## Where the numbers live | Where | What it shows | |---|---| | The plan catalogue in the app | Every plan except the trial plan, cheapest first, each with its cost, duration, allowances, and description | | Your account details | The plan your active subscription is on, and the subscription itself | [Plans and billing](/guides/plans-and-billing) covers reading the catalogue and buying from it. ## Notes - Allowances are read at each check from the plan your subscription is on, so a changed allowance applies to your next attempt to add something while the subscription you bought keeps its days. - An account holds one active subscription, so one set of allowances is in force at a time. - Being over an allowance is a state AFP tolerates: nothing is deleted or deactivated, and everything already in place keeps running. - Comment automation is gated by the subscription rather than by an allowance.
